Cindy Russo and St. Padre Pio

Miracle MomentSt. Padre Pio

He died in 1968. He carried the wounds of Christ on his body for his last 50 years, until his death at age 81. Countless books speak of the endless number of miracles that came about through his prayers. He would continually remind listeners to ‘pray, hope, and don’t worry.’  People would wait up to a year to have their confession heard by this gifted man, because, through the Holy Spirit, he knew their sins better than they did.

In 2010, 42 years after his death, St. Padre Pio interceded for Cindy Russo as she prayed for Noah, a terminally ill three-year-old. Pio’s appearance to Cindy at a church in Rome, Italy, turned a lukewarm Christian into someone who is now on fire. She has brought many a deeper connection with Christ through the assistance of this faithful servant of Jesus.

  1. Today is the 51st anniversary of St. Padre Pio’s death…9/23/2019. This archive podcast is a good one to listen to, especially today.

  3. Dear Cindy,
I had the pleasure of meeting you and hearing your presentation st Sts, Robert and William last year…what a holy, blessed evening!
I am contacting you to ask you and the prayer group to please pray for St. Padre Pio’s intercession for my nephew Jason and his wife Dena. I just found out they are planning a trip to Italy (I think March)…made, me chuckle thinking God moves in funny ways sometimes. Both are in need of an encounter and revelation of God’s love for them, and conversion. Very anti- church, mock Christianity…I am asking Padre Pio for help in bringing this conversion about. I know God can surprise them!
I also have a sister, Maria, that left the church long ago, rejects all things Christian. Her birthday is May 25th!!! Have been praying for her, too….I know Padre Pio is on it!
I continue to pray for you all and the mission God has entrusted you with. Hope to see you again some time in the Cleveland area.
Thank you, and blessing, Geri R
