Pray, Hope, and Don’t Worry – BFL 115

St. Padre Pio

He died in 1968. He carried the wounds of Christ on his body for his last 50 years, until his death at age 81. Countless books speak of the endless number of miracles that came about through his prayers. He would continually remind listeners to ‘pray, hope, and don’t worry.’¬† People would wait up to a year to have their confession heard by this gifted man, because, through the Holy Spirit, he knew their ¬†sins better than they did.

In 2010, 42 years after his death, St. Padre Pio interceded¬†for Cindy Russo as she prayed for Noah, a terminally ill Cindy Russothree-year-old. Yes, the boy was healed immediately. Pio’s appearance to Cindy at a church in Rome, Italy, turned a lukewarm Christian into someone who is now on fire. She has brought JesusImagePadrePioChalicehundreds, if not thousands to a deeper connection with Christ through the assistance of this faithful servant of Jesus.

Bonus: ‘Come Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus’ – Part two…
For most, it is easier to connect with God the Father, or Jesus, then it is to approach the Holy Spirit. Once again, in this episode, the importance of making that connection with the third person of the Holy Trinity. When we ask the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, and complete us, the Holy Spirit does just that… Physically, spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, etc. plus He infuses within us our purpose in life. The Holy Spirit is the Mind of God in action. We have the Father Himself delivering his message and his healing to us.

  1. Philip, your interview just fabulous. You make people feel so comfortable. This story is just amazing. Cindy’s faith is such a delight and the turn about of events (miracles) that became known, in such a domino effect, kept me on the edge of my seat. She should write a book. A simple faith of great truth from a special lady who captured many hearts by her story.
I want to say thank you to Cindy for her faith, and for acting on it, insisting and praying, as she did. What a boldness of faith. This little three year old healed!
    Thanks for your story.

  2. Hello Phillip,
I just listened to your talk with Cindy Russo. I belong to the group and have heard you speak there. Tonight I was also listening to you talk about praying to the Holy Spirt I have a hard time praying and focusing, so what you said made a lot of sense to me. Keep it simple. I even wrote it down so could remember what to say cause I seem to forget things easily. Then you started talking about the music on Amazon and it was really strange cause I too have the amazon prime, and within the passed few months I have really come to love classical music, especially piano, and when you mentioned The Piano Guys I almost fell over. I fell in love with there music and I have several on my playlist. My most favorite is called ” A Thousand Years ” I just listened to the music only, and after hearing you talk, I decided to see if there were any lyrics to it and there were, and I just said out loud WOW ! If you get a chance, look them up, and look at them in a spiritual sense.
Thank You for this wonderful moment,

  3. As always, this was very inspirational! I feel spiritually “full” after every podcast and the feeling lasts all week. Would Cindy consider sharing the photo she took the day her husband passed? Thank you so much for your work and dedication. You are changing lives!
